Hunters Bar

Our bar is warm and friendly and has everything one would expect from an old and very traditional English Inn..... with lots of brass, old wood, an open fire in the winter and of course many fine drinks and a wholesome and varied menu.

We stock a comprehensive and varied range of very well cared for lagers and real ales (for which we have earned the coveted Cask Marque accreditation), including regularly changing guest Ales.  We also have an extensive wine cellar with offerings to suit the discerning palate and with our newly installed 'le verre de vin' wine preserving bottle sealing system, we are able to offer all of our wines by the glass. We also offer a 'take-out' 2 and 4 pint container service for you to take away and enjoy any of our ales and beers at your leisure!

Prepare your taste buds for a mouth watering menu designed and cooked by Head chef Sarah Palmer and 2nd chef Erin Jarvis for Bullers Restaurant dining within our Hunters Bar. All of our food is genuinely freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Our menu is varied, ranging from light snacks through to sophisticated but wholesome delights, and very tempting deserts, with additional daily specials. Booking is advisable.

Bullers Suite

Our Bullers Suite is an intimate room that may be booked for private dining and meetings for up to twenty persons.

There is no booking fee for this room when reserved for private use or non profit making organisations.

Redvers Functions Suite

For those wishing to host a function or event, we have one of the largest function suites in the North Cornwall and West Devon areas with a dining capacity of 150, seating capacity of 200,  and standing/dancing event capacity of 300 persons. The 'Redvers' suite also has the facility of its own dedicated fully stocked bar and cellar. We work closely with our customers to tailor our service to individual needs and would welcome the opportunity to discuss any event you may wish to hold. Weddings, Birthday & Anniversary parties, business functions, charity events, club dinners, whatever your celebration we will do our utmost to cater for your needs.

We now have our  licence to conduct civil ceremonies at the Hotel to further complement our extensive hosting facilities

Sunday Carvery

Our renowned Sunday carvery with four meats and no less than nine freshly prepared vegetables. Every Sunday from 12.30pm to 3pm. Served in our Redvers Function Suite, with waitress service for your drink and dessert requirements, again, booking is advisable.
